It's only a few days since Leica promised “the coming-of-age ceremony of mobile imaging” in relation to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and now we have an official date for the flagship's unveiling. April 18th is when Xiaomi will announce the 13 Ultra with what we expect to be possibly the best smartphone cameras of 2023.
Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the 13 Ultra will reportedly be available in 8/12/16GB memory variants with 256/512GB/1TB options in terms of storage.
We can expect a foursome of rear cameras housed in a circular protrusion on the back panel, which will also include a dual-LED flash and a microphone, as shown by the leaked renders above (via SmartPrix).
As it says in Xiaomi's teaser image, the 13 Ultra is confirmed to be launching globally unlike its predecessor, which means we could have a powerhouse of a mobile camera to look forward to.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra launch event will kick off at 7 AM ET/ 12 PM BST and will be live-streamed via the brand's Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter accounts as well as Mi.com.
