The Xiaomi 13 series made its debut during MWC 2023 and today we have news that the top-of-the-range Xiaomi 13 Ultra is to be released globally sometime this month (April). Xiaomi is promising big things in the camera department with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra thanks to its ongoing partnership with Leica.
According to its statement on Twitter, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will feature “the most perfect Summicron lens ever created in the field of mobile imaging.” Xiaomi goes on to say that the phone's camera lenses will, for the first time, have “consistently excellent optical capabilities” which sounds a little vague but is exciting nonetheless.
We can probably expect the Xiaomi 13 Ultra to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 12-16GB of LPPDR5X memory, a 5,000mAh battery with ultra-fast charging, as well as at least a trio of Leica-tuned rear cameras.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the 13 Ultra will be unveiled sometime during April although a specific day has not yet been revealed. The new flagship will be available in global markets in the ‘coming months'.
