Google One's VPN function has been available to those subscribing to the 2TB plan and above for a while now but today brings good news to those enrolled in the lesser plans in that Google is making the VPN available to all subscribers.
Google One's built-in VPN will help you shield your internet activity no matter what apps or browsers you use by masking your IP address. Previously an exclusive feature for the 2TB plans and above, the VPN is now available from the $1.99 tier and in 22 countries, regardless of whether you use Android, iOS, Mac, or Windows devices.

The dark web is one of those scary places that many of us prefer to ignore but it's also the place where much of the nefarious actions taken on the internet occur. The personal information of millions of people can be found on the dark web which means that Google One's dark web report can help you find out if your personal data is to be found where it shouldn't be.
Data such as your name, address, phone number, and Social Security number can be kept an eye on by the dark web report in Google One, alerting you as to if or when it is found and how you might go about protecting said information. Google says the dark web report function will roll out to Google One users in the US over the coming weeks.
