Prime Big Deal Days is live, and if your home, car or laptop could use an upgrade, there are some solid discounts worth grabbing. Govee's smart lights are up to 42% off on Amazon, alongside cheaper Vantrue dash cams, PNY storage and an Acer Chromebook.
These prices end when Amazon's event wraps on October 7, so I wouldn't leave it too long. Here are the deals worth your attention.
Govee Smart Lighting
Govee has a big chunk of its range discounted on Amazon, with outdoor lighting taking the biggest cuts. That feels well-timed with Halloween and Christmas both on the way.
If you're after something indoors, it's worth reading about Govee's latest floor lamp before you buy.

Vantrue Dash Cams
Vantrue is taking up to 33% off its latest dash cams until October 7. Three-channel models like the N4 Pro S add a cabin camera, which makes them a strong fit for rideshare drivers.
- Vantrue N4 Pro S: A three-channel dash cam recording true 4K at the front with Sony's STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor. $299.99, down from $399.99 Amazon

PNY Storage
PNY says every price below sits under the product's 30-day Amazon low, and the 1TB NVMe kit is the standout if you've got an older laptop that needs a new lease of life. It's a similar spread to last year's PNY deals, just with a few newer drives.
- PNY CS2241 1TB NVMe SSD Upgrade Kit: A Gen4 SSD rated at up to 5,100MB/s, bundled with a transfer adapter and Acronis cloning software. $135.99, down from $159.99 Amazon
- PNY CS900 500GB SATA SSD: An easy upgrade for older laptops and desktops still running a hard drive. $76.49, down from $89.99 Amazon
- PNY Premier-X 64GB microSDXC (5-Pack): Five U3, V30 and A1-rated cards for cameras, drones and handhelds. $59.49, down from $69.99 Amazon
- PNY Elite-X 64GB microSDXC (3-Pack): Three U3, V30 and A1-rated cards fast enough for 4K video. $33.99, down from $39.99 Amazon
- PNY Attaché 4 128GB USB Drive: A simple USB 2.0 drive with a sliding collar and key loop. $16.99, down from $19.99 Amazon
Acer Chromebook Spin 314
Acer's Chromebook Spin 314 drops $100 to $399.99, which puts a 14-inch convertible with a Gorilla Glass-protected touchscreen at a sensible price. Inside, there's an Intel Core i3-N305, 8GB of RAM and Wi-Fi 6E.
The catch is storage, as 128GB of eMMC will fill up fast if you lean on Android apps. If you're tempted by Google's new Googlebook lineup, this is a far cheaper way into ChromeOS while you wait for prices to settle.

Which Deals Are Worth It?
The PNY 1TB SSD kit is the easiest win here if you've got an aging laptop, and the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro is a big saving if you've been putting off holiday lighting. Vantrue's N4S hits the sweet spot for most drivers, while the Chromebook suits students and anyone who lives in a browser.
Skip the Chromebook if you need lots of local storage, and skip the permanent lights if you rent. Prices and stock can shift quickly during Prime Day, so grab anything you've had your eye on before Wednesday night.
The performance figures here come from the brands themselves, so it'll be worth seeing how they hold up in real-world use. Based on what's confirmed so far, though, these are solid prices on gear most people will actually use.
