Projectors have quietly become one of the easiest ways to get a 100-inch-plus picture without a giant black rectangle on your wall, and Xgimi is cutting up to $1,000 off its lineup right now. The Horizon 20 Pro drops to $1,599, a $900 saving, while the portable MoGo 4 falls to $379.
Several models also come with a free gift, from a ceiling mount to a TV stick. Xgimi's sale page doesn't list an end date, so I wouldn't sit on these for too long.
Horizon Home Projectors
The Horizon 20 series is where most people should start. Xgimi says all three models use its RGB triple laser engine with Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and IMAX Enhanced support, and stepping up the range mostly buys you more brightness.
We covered the Horizon 20 series debut at IFA last year, and the Pro looks like the sweet spot on paper thanks to its gaming features.
- Xgimi Horizon 20 Pro: Xgimi rates it at 4,100 ISO lumens, with lens shift and up to 240Hz for gaming. $1,599, down from $2,499 Xgimi
- Xgimi Horizon 20: The entry model, rated at 3,200 ISO lumens with Harman Kardon speakers and Google TV built in. $1,199, down from $1,699 Xgimi
- Xgimi Horizon 20 Max: The brightest of the trio at a claimed 5,700 ISO lumens, with lens shift and optical zoom. $2,099, down from $2,999 Xgimi
- Xgimi Horizon Ultra: Xgimi's LED and laser hybrid, rated at 2,300 ISO lumens with Dolby Vision support. $999, down from $1,699.99, plus a free TV Stick 4K Xgimi
Premium and Ultra-Short-Throw Projectors
If you're building a proper home cinema, the Titan Noir Pro is Xgimi's big gun. The company claims 6,000 ISO lumens and a dual iris system for deeper blacks, and it comes with a free ceiling mount during the sale.
The Aura 2 takes a different approach, sitting just inches from the wall as an ultra-short-throw projector. Xgimi has already shown off the Aura 3 at IFA, which helps explain the Aura 2's $1,000 discount.
- Xgimi Titan Noir Pro: A triple-laser flagship with a claimed 6,000 ISO lumens, 110% BT.2020 color coverage and a dual iris. $3,999, down from $4,999, plus a free ceiling mount Xgimi
- Xgimi Aura 2: An ultra-short-throw projector rated at 2,300 ISO lumens, with Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Harman Kardon speakers. $1,699, down from $2,699 Xgimi
Portable Projectors
Xgimi's portables are where the sale gets more approachable. The Elfin Flip 4K, which we went hands-on with in the summer, drops $200, while the MoGo 4 and MoGo 4 Laser both have built-in batteries for backyard movie nights.
- Xgimi Elfin Flip 4K: A compact 4K triple-laser projector rated at 1,600 ISO lumens, with Harman Kardon sound and Google TV. $799, down from $999, plus a free remote case Xgimi
- Xgimi MoGo 4 Laser: A triple-laser portable rated at 550 ISO lumens, with up to 2.5 hours of battery and a 360-degree stand. $512, down from $799 Xgimi
- Xgimi MoGo 4: A thermos-sized portable with Google TV and up to 2.5 hours of battery life. $379, down from $499 Xgimi
- Xgimi Vibe One (Battery Powered): A playful, sticker-friendly mini projector with up to 1.2 hours of video playback per charge. $199, down from $329 Xgimi
Which Xgimi Deal Should You Buy?
For most living rooms, the Horizon 20 Pro is the one I'd point people toward, as it balances brightness, gaming features and price better than the Max. If you want something you can carry into the garden, the MoGo 4 at $379 is the easy pick.
Skip the Titan Noir Pro unless you've got a dedicated dark room, and skip the Vibe One if you plan to watch full movies on battery. Both are good at what they do, but they're specialists.
The brightness and contrast figures come from Xgimi, so it'll be worth seeing how they hold up in real-world use. On paper, though, a $900 cut on the Horizon 20 Pro is hard to ignore.
