Smart lighting is a crowded category, and Govee knows it. The company's answer with today's launch is LuminBlend+, a new color management technology it's calling its most accurate yet. The Floor Lamp 3 is the first product to carry it, and if the claims hold up, it addresses one of the longest-standing frustrations with smart RGB lighting: colors that don't actually look like what you asked for.
Floor Lamp 3

The Floor Lamp 3 is Govee's new flagship and the LuminBlend+ debut. It packs 288 LEDs — 144 RGB and 144 warm-cool white — double the density of its predecessor, with a dual-sided emission design that spreads light at a 170-degree angle for better wall coverage. Output hits 2,100 lumens, enough to illuminate up to 645 square feet. Govee says it renders the most accurate color reproduction of any floor lamp on the market, including pastels at 1% brightness, with a tunable white range of 1,000K to 10,000K. The redesigned base features dual-ring illumination and is built from unibody aluminum.
Lantern Floor Lamp

The Lantern Floor Lamp is a new form factor for Govee entirely. It runs the same LuminBlend+ tech and introduces Halo Gradient Lighting — a soft, ring-shaped gradient glow designed to mimic natural light phenomena like a setting sun or cherry blossom shimmer. Output is 1,400 lumens covering up to 320 square feet, with the same 1,000K to 10,000K white range. A tap on the top of the lamp cycles through effects without needing the app — a small but sensible touch for something that lives in a living room corner.
Smart Features Across Both

Both lamps run Govee's AI Lighting Bot 2.0, which lets you describe a mood in plain language and generates a matching lighting scene. DaySync handles automatic circadian rhythm scheduling, shifting from cool white in the morning to warmer tones at night. Both support Matter, Alexa, Google Home, and SmartThings, along with over 100 preset scene modes and 16 music sync options.
Pricing and Availability

Both lamps are available now at us.govee.com and on Amazon. The Floor Lamp 3 is priced at $169.99, while the Lantern Floor Lamp comes in at $129.99. Govee is also launching a Floor Lamp 3 Lite alongside them — a mid-range RGBICWW option for buyers who want into the ecosystem without the flagship price — also at $129.99.
The accuracy claim is the thing to watch here. Smart lighting has been around long enough that most buyers know the difference between marketing color shots and how RGB actually looks in a room. If LuminBlend+ genuinely delivers on pastels at low brightness, that's a problem nobody else has solved cleanly.
