A New Generation at Hogwarts
The latest teaser introduces audiences to a new cast stepping into some of fantasy fiction's most iconic roles. Dominic McLaughlin stars as Harry Potter, with Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The teaser also features glimpses of several familiar faces at Hogwarts: John Lithgow appears as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid. Warwick Davis, returning from the original film series, reprises his role as Professor Filius Flitwick.
Returning to a Beloved Story
The story of Harry Potter is beloved around the world. Rowling herself is involved as executive producer, helping to ensure the world of Harry Potter remains true to its roots.

I haven’t been waiting for this and I won’t watch it for obvious reason not naming then but *cough, cough* professor Snape
I saw one trailer on HBO that showed another actress who can’t act.
Like the last Hermonie, way too nervous. Always moves her forehead up. Moves her mouth strangely. Emma Watson learned how to act better after she went to college. You’ll see she stopped doing this after. Couldn’t stand watching her as a kid and still can’t in those HP movies. What I don’t understand is how the tv show could make the exact same mistake. I’m starting to think they are not picking out based on acting talent. There are so many kids who audition, though, that maybe it just makes it worse. You see so much worse and way more bad talent that when something descent comes along it looks way better than what it is.
