Vivo has officially announced the X300 FE, a compact flagship that leads with its camera credentials. It packs a triple ZEISS co-engineered rear system, Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, and a surprisingly large 6500mAh battery into a body that weighs just 191g.
A telephoto camera built for concerts and crowds

The headline feature is the 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, which sits on a 1/1.95-inch sensor and is paired with an f/2.65 lens. What makes it more interesting than the spec sheet suggests is the Vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, an optional accessory that pushes the equivalent focal length out to 200mm. It weighs 191g, down from 210g on the previous generation, which matters a lot if you are actually going to carry it around.
Stage Mode is Vivo's way of making that telephoto hardware useful specifically for live events. It combines algorithm tuning with the Telephoto Magic 2.0 processing engine to keep subjects sharp under mixed concert lighting, and there is a Dual-View Stage Video option that records the stage and your reaction simultaneously.
The rest of the camera system

Alongside the telephoto, the X300 FE carries a 50MP main camera on a 1/1.56-inch sensor at f/1.57, and an 8MP ultra-wide with a 110-degree field of view. The front camera is a 50MP shooter with an f/2.0 lens, a step up from what you typically see at this tier.
Video capability is solid across the board, with 4K at 60fps for day-to-day use, 4K at 120fps for slow motion, and 8K at 30fps for maximum resolution. Street Photography Mode is worth a mention too, as it intentionally preserves grain and natural light variations rather than scrubbing them out.
Performance and battery
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is the chip here, paired with either 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage or 512GB of storage. There is a 4005mm² vapor chamber cooling system underneath, which should keep sustained performance stable during longer gaming or video recording sessions.
The 6500mAh battery is the other standout feature. That is a lot of capacity for a phone this thin, and 90W wired charging means it does not take long to top back up. 40W wireless charging is also supported, which isn't standard on every compact flagship.
Design and software
At 150.83 x 71.76 x 7.99mm and 191g, the X300 FE sits comfortably in the hand for a phone with a 6.31-inch display. The screen is an LTPO AMOLED panel with a 1-120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nit peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming, which matters for anyone sensitive to flicker. IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistance round out the durability picture.
It runs OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, with Vivo committing to 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security patches. Color options are Mist Purple, Glow White, Luxe Black, and Urban Olive.
