Google's next set of flagships takes the place on the calendar for the next big smartphone launch. Unfortunately, you're going to have to wait until August 20th for that date to come, and that's still pretty far off. If you're a big Pixel fan, that one-month gap might seem like an eternity.

Thankfully, for those fans, particularly those with a liking for the base Pixel 10 model, renders leaked by Android Headlines will give you a chance to see what the phone will look like—at least, the back of it. There's quite a lot to glean from these renders, most especially, how the phone will look in each of its prospective colorways.

The Google Pixel 10 Is Confirmed for Four Colorways

It's an unspoken rule, but one thing that I've noticed is that lower-tier flagships in the same series tend to be a little more fashion-forward, especially in colors, than the “Ultra” models and the others at the top. You see it in the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip (compared to the Z Fold), you see it with the Galaxy S25 (compared to the Plus and Ultra), and keeping it relevant, you see it with the regular Pixel compared to the Pro models above it.

That's going to remain the same this year. The Google Pixel 10 is going to have just four colorways. Sure, there will be the obligatory option for those who prefer neutral shades for their phones, but the other options will range from a hint of color to plenty of vibrancy. Here are the colorways that you can expect to see on the Google Pixel 10 next month:

  • Frost (light blue)
  • Indigo (deep blue)
  • Limoncello (light yellow)
  • Obsidian (dark grey)

Obsidian is very familiar to Pixel lovers. It's the company's “black” color option. However, the rest might be a tad unfamiliar. Frost is calm enough for a lot of people to opt for it, but the deep Indigo hue and the polarizing Limoncello might tell very different stories.

The Google Pixel 10 Will Be Adding a Third Camera to the Rear

These renders don't exist solely to let us know which colorways will be available. The main value of a render is that it gives you a look at what the smartphone is going to look like when it launches. In this case, seeing all four colorways was an added bonus.

While the phone might look very similar to the Pixel 9 at first glance, if you really pay attention, you'll notice something very different. The Pixel 10 has a rear design remarkably similar to the Pixel 9 Pro. Wait a minute… That's a third camera. Unlike last year, the base model of the Pixel 10 lineup will have three cameras, which means all models in the new Pixel family will have a trio of lenses. That's perfect versatility.

Ultrawide Camera12 MP
Telephoto Camera10.8MP

Even with the third camera now added to the mix, there's no reason to think it'll be matching the Pro models in that regard. In fact, it is rumored that compared to them, the sensors are going to be taken a step down. Time will tell, though.
