If you have a OnePlus 13 or a OnePlus 13R, you're a little lucky, because the phones are about to get one of the most significant updates they've received since they launched internationally at the start of the year. Think of it a little like a Pixel Drop, but for devices from this Chinese OEM.
OnePlus announced Plus Mind some time back, when it launched the stunning compact OnePlus 13S/13T. Now, it will be bringing that same feature to its current flagship options, the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R. Let's talk about everything that you'll be able to do with this new AI-powered feature.
Plus Mind Is an AI-Powered Assistant That Makes Storing and Retrieving Important Info Easier

The OnePlus 13T launched in May and was renamed to the OnePlus 13S in some regions. The device was compact, but despite being small, it came with some pretty exceptional features in tow. It also brought a new button, called the Plus Key, which was dedicated to activating a new feature, called Plus Mind, on the small smartphone. Since the OnePlus 13T and OnePlus 13S aren't available in the US, you might know little about Plus Mind.
You can think of Plus Mind as an AI-powered space on your phone where you can store important info that you encounter when using your device. For instance:
- Activate it in a group chat where someone mentions the name and venue of an upcoming event, and the AI will identify the relevant information and let you easily add it to your calendar.
- Maybe you're trying to get to a stated destination? Plus Mind can instantly redirect you to Google Maps.
- See something that you simply want to revisit at a later time? You can tuck it away into Plus Mind and take a second look whenever.

With the power of AI, even if you have hundreds of things in Plus Mind, it'll be easier than ever to search for exactly what you're looking for. Just ask conversationally, and OnePlus' AI will get what you mean and show you the relevant stored content.
Here's How to Activate Plus Mind on Your OnePlus 13 or OnePlus 13R
If you've been paying attention, you'll remember that I mentioned that the OnePlus 13T comes with a Plus Key. However, you might know that there's no such key on your OnePlus 13 or OnePlus 13R.

In this case, all you need is a three-finger upward swipe. Plus Mind will activate and analyze whatever is on your screen at that time. You can view your Mind Space from its standalone app, giving you access to all the things that you have used Plus Mind to store.
The rollout for this new OnePlus feature is currently going on worldwide, so if you're lucky, you might be able to give it a go as soon as you're done reading this article. However, for some, you might not see it today or tomorrow—certain regions could have to wait weeks, so it is important to have that in mind too.
