Your favorite carrier not-so-secretly operates smaller carriers for a bigger share of the market. In the case of T-Mobile, you might know that it also owns Mint Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile, but are you familiar with Ultra Mobile? It's the least-known of T-Mobile's options, but it still has a pretty solid customer base.
Ultra Mobile wants more people to know of its existence, though, and one step to doing that is revamping the plans that it previously had to provide even more value. Ultra Mobile's new plans will give you more value, and these upgrades might be just enough for you to finally switch over.
Ultra Mobile Upgrades Its Existing Plans for a Lot More Value

There's nothing customers love more than getting extra value for the same price that they've always been used to paying. You likely weren't an Ultra Mobile subscriber before this, but following these improvements to its plans, I'm sure that the carrier is hoping you'll at least consider being one.
The plans will stick to the same pricing as before, but most of them will get a larger data allowance, better data coverage in some international regions, and savings by buying more months upfront. Let's talk about what's on offer.
You Get More Data on Almost All of Ultra Mobile's Plans Now

Whether you're going for Ultra Mobile's cheapest plan or the most expensive one, it wants to make sure that you get a taste of the extra value it is providing. All of its plans will come with additional data in one way or another, without a change in pricing. Let's take a look.
| Plan Pricing | New Data Allowance | Previous Data Allowance |
| $19/month | 4GB | 3GB |
| $24/month | 8GB | 5GB |
| $29/month | 12GB | 10GB |
| $39/month | 24GB | 15GB |
| $49/month | Ultra Unlimited (10GB Hotspot) | Ultra Unlimited (10GB Hotspot) |
| $59/month | Ultra Unlimited+ (25GB Hotspot) | Ultra Unlimited+ (20GB Hotspot) |
You may notice that the $49 plan appears to remain unchanged in value. Fair assessment, but you do get 5GB of extra data for roaming in Mexico, as well as an additional $5 worth of international credits for roaming. The Unlimited+ plan offers the same perks, plus an increased hotspot data allowance. The 24GB plan also comes with a 5GB increase in roaming data in Mexico.
You Can Save Money By Paying for More Months

You have the chance to save even more money when you pay for additional months upfront. So, there are savings to be made if you pay for 3, 6, or even 12 months right from the start. It's a good idea to make sure that you enjoy the carrier's service before you make that kind of commitment, though.
- 3-Month plans get you up to 10% off
- 6-Month plans will offer 20% off
- 12-Month plans will knock off 30%
By subscribing to a 12-month plan, you can get as much as $216 saved, so that's something that should not be ignored. And if you don't want to commit, activating auto-renew can still get you a 10% discount, even with monthly payments. That's not a bad look from the T-Mobile MVNO.
