As a company, OnePlus hasn’t been around for the longest time, but in the time that it has been around, it has expanded its portfolio from just smartphones to include tablets, audio products, smartwatches, and power accessories. That’s pretty impressive, considering the company is 12 years old.
Today, let’s put some focus on the OnePlus Watch 3. That device has had a bit of a rough time on the market, starting with a major typo printed on the body of the device and then a price hike that wasn’t elaborated on. Now that things have settled, OnePlus is ready to breathe a little new life into the OnePlus Watch 3, with a new case size.
The OnePlus Watch 3 Will Be Launched in a 43mm Case Size Next Month

The OnePlus Watch 3 is a fantastic smartwatch. When it was first announced, I couldn’t help but admire it. Plus, the switch to WearOS has only helped with its appeal. Sadly, the device had a humorous and rocky entry into the market, after it was found out that every single unit of the watch had “Meda in China” written on the underside, as opposed to “Made in China”. For me, that’s not a big deal, but it led OnePlus to recall the watch.
Then, after getting back to market, OnePlus quietly hiked its price from $329.99 at launch to $499.99. The company itself said nothing, but it seemed to be due to US tariffs on China. Well, the watch is back to a “normal” price: $349.99. It’s $20 higher than at launch, but that’s not a dealbreaker. And now that things are settled, OnePlus is ready to launch a new variant of the Watch 3.

In this case, it’ll be a 43mm model (to join the initial 47mm model). This model will also be available in an exclusive Silver Steel colorway, which boasts a high-end appearance with its metallic finish. Of course, besides size-related specs, the 43mm Watch 3 should bring most of the same specs as the 47mm variant of the device. The same great health monitoring features stick around.

OnePlus Reveals the Other Devices That It Will Be Launching on July 8th

OnePlus might produce a range of devices, but most people will visit the Chinese OEM for its phones. It’s no surprise that with its July 8th event, the company used the OnePlus Nord 5 as the vanguard. It kept the other devices low-key for some time, but now, it has let us know the five devices we can expect to see on that day. They are the following:
- OnePlus Nord 5
- OnePlus Nord CE 5
- OnePlus Watch 3 43mm
- OnePlus Buds 4
- OnePlus Pad Lite
That aligns closely with my guess. I didn’t see the tablet coming, but I was pretty much bang on with the others. Now all we have to do is wait until they arrive.
