CMF by Nothing, a subsidiary of Nothing Inc., is set to release its first smartphone. Phone 1 will launch during the company’s community update at 10 AM British Summer Time (BST), along with the Buds Pro 2 and Watch Pro 2 devices. The company made the announcement on X with a 13-second video teaser. The video doesn't exactly show the devices, but you'll catch a glimpse of the rounded case edges sported by the earlier released CMF Buds Pro. In a previous post, they dropped hints with a video of someone holding a tiny screwdriver. From leaked images of the smartphone having a screw on its rear, we now know for sure that it will debut on the specified date.

Phone 1 may be right around your budge

CMF hasn't released the official specifications for its first phone. But rumors are circulating that it's a budget range device priced at Rs 19,999 in India. That's roughly $240. You may even get it cheaper during and after the launch, considering the introductory deals CMF may offer. Other retailers like Amazon may also offer exclusive deals and discounts.

Expectations for its features include a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have 50MP dual cameras on the back and 50MP front camera. The phone will most likely use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset, with 6GB or 8GB RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of storage. It might include a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Battery capacity will be 5,000mAh and support 33W wired charging. The phone will appear in orange and black colors. It isn't launching alone as the second generation of the Buds Pro device is coming with it.

The first Buds Pro had powerful 45 dB Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and a Transparency Mode to still keep you alert of your surroundings. It has 6 HD microphones with Clear Voice Technology for clear calls and wind noise reduction. CMF promised 11 hours of playback with ANC off, and 39 hours with the charging case. It's available in Orange, Dark Grey, and Light Grey, with IP54 dust and water resistance.

Watch Pro 2 is also launching with Phone 1

Wearables are becoming more mainstream, and so it's not surprising that CMF is taking advantage of that market. Their first Watch Pro wearable was a beauty, and the next one may just blow our minds. The previous model came with a 1.96-inch AMOLED Display and supported Bluetooth calls with AI noise reduction. Like the Buds, it has a long battery life of up to 13 days of typical use or 10 days of heavy use.

As most wearables will do, it tracks your heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep patterns, and stress levels. There are also 110 Sports modes to help you track and improve your fitness routine. Impressively, it has an IP68 water resistance rating, among other features. Besides these devices, CMF has released a Neckband Pro, and all items are available for purchase on Amazon and other partnering stores.
