‘Century Quest' is a Town Quest that becomes available in your temporal journal once you've reached Resonance 70 and unlocked Dark Forest 1. Under Stage 1 Town Quest, ‘Century Quest' is accompanied by two other town quests: the ‘Holistone Crisis' and the ‘Pup Peekaboo.' These tasks involve helping Esperia residents in specific regions, and they offer hefty rewards once completed.
Step-by-Step Century Quest Guide
STEP 1: Speak with Gareth
To start the Century Quest, head to the Mirror Lake (350;165), and you will spot two villagers who appear to be playing a new kind of card game. Talk to Gareth to learn more.
STEP 2: Century Quest Commence
Gareth will introduce a game called Century Quest and instantly commence a mini-game. He will explain the rules to you and how to earn points. Thankfully, the game is relatively straightforward.
STEP 3: Find the Matching Cards
The main goal is to find all the cards on the deck that match the one in the upper left corner. Collect all the cards within 60 seconds to win the mini-game. Once the game starts, the cards will flip in intervals, revealing the pattern. Tap on the card that matches the one in the upper left.
STEP 4: Fill the Gauge
Each card you collect contributes to filling up the gauge. Once the bar fills up, you will enter a ‘power up' mode where, in a short duration, all the pattern that appears on the deck matches the required card.
This mode is an excellent opportunity to collect enough matching cards to complete the minigame.
STEP 5: Win the Game
After collecting fifteen matching cards, the Century Quest minigame concludes, and Gareth rewards you for a job well done.
How to Unlock
‘Century Quest' Town Quest becomes available in AFK Journey once you have reached Resonance Level 70 and unlocked Dark Forest 1, starting the story quest ‘Whispering Woods.'

You will receive the following rewards once you have completed the town quest:
- 5 Soulstone (A-Level)
- 121 Hero Essence
- 14,000 Training Manual
