‘Pup Peekaboo' is a Town Quest that becomes available in your temporal journal once you've reached Resonance 70 and unlocked Dark Forest 1. Under Stage 1 Town Quest, ‘Pup Peekaboo' is accompanied by two other town quests: the ‘Holistone Crisis' and the ‘Century Quest' These Town Quests involve helping Esperia residents in specific regions, and they offer hefty rewards once completed.
Step-by-Step Pup Peekaboo Guide
STEP 1: Talk to Rikard
To start the ‘Pup Peekaboo' quest, head to the vineyard in Lord Franz's Manor (416;155) and talk to Rikard, who looks completely anxious.
STEP 2: Start the Quest
Her pet puppy, Remy, went missing, but her mother prevented her from leaving their home. It's your mission to find Remy and bring the puppy home safely. After the dialogue, the quest immediately begins, granting you three minutes to locate and guide the puppy back home.
STEP 3: Find Remy
The puppy, Remy, is located southeast of the girl's quaint house. If you can't find the puppy, follow the trail of ducks, and you will spot the puppy behind the grapes.
STEP 4: Lead the Puppy
Once you have found the puppy, enter the focus range indicated with a circle below Remy and then ring the bell to draw their attention. The bell is located on the lower left of your screen. Remy will follow as long you're within the range and ringing their favorite bell.
STEP 5: Avoid the Ducks
The ducks will distract Remy. As much as possible, avoid them as you lead the puppy home. If you get separated from Remy, step within the focus range and ring the bell to get their attention again.
The best route to completely avoid the ducks is through the grapevines, which lead straight to Rikard's house.
STEP 6: Talk to Rikard
Once you have reached the house, lead Remy into the highlighted area on the ground, then talk to Rikard to complete the quest. To show appreciation, Rikard rewards you for helping.
How to Unlock
‘Pup Peekaboo' Town Quest becomes available in AFK Journey once you have reached Resonance Level 70 and unlocked Dark Forest 1, starting the story quest ‘Whispering Woods.'
