Besides launching the all-important Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 on July 26, Samsung is also prepping its new Galaxy Tab S9 series to be unveiled during the same event being held in Seoul, South Korea. As you would expect from there being less than 2 weeks to the big day, European pricing for Samsung's new Android tablets has leaked – revealing something of a price bump for all three models.

According to SamInsider, these are the expected prices for the European market as obtained from a retailer's database:

Galaxy Tab S9

  • 8/128GB WiFi: €929 (~$1,037)
  • 12/256GB WiFi: €1,049 (~$1,170)

Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra

  • 12/256GB WiFi: €1,369 (~$1,530)

Galaxy Tab S9+

  • 12/256GB WiFi: €1,149 (~$1,283)

It's fair to say that if the leaked figures are accurate then we can expect the Galaxy Tab S9 series of tablets to be a bit more expensive than its predecessor. Naturally, there are differences in tax, currency values, and marketing strategies to take into account when trying to figure out US pricing. Usually, Samsung prices its goods more aggressively in the US than it does for the rest of the world, so we may see the base Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9+ come in under the $1,000 threshold, hopefully. We don't have long to wait for the official figures with the Unpacked launch event being held on July 26.

In terms of specifications, Ishan Agarwal has posted that the Galaxy Tab S9 series are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will feature IP68 water and dust resistance, 120Hz displays, an optical fingerprint sensor, quad speakers, and S-Pen support with bilateral charging. the following details on Twitter:
