Pocket, the popular read-it-later app, has just released a new update with a number of new features that make it easier to discover and organize content.
New Home Screen
- The biggest change in the new update is the new Home screen. The Home screen now features a number of new sections, including:
- Recent Saves: This section shows you all of the articles, videos, and websites that you've recently saved to Pocket.
- Editors' Picks: This section features a selection of articles and videos that have been hand-picked by Pocket's editors.
- In Case You Missed It: This section features a selection of articles and videos that have been popular in the past week.
- Long Reads Worth the Time: This section features a selection of long-form articles that are worth your time.
- Ten Minutes or Less: This section features a selection of articles that you can read in ten minutes or less.
New Lists Feature
Another big new feature in the update is the ability to create lists. Lists allow you to organize your saved content into categories that make sense to you. For example, you could create a list of recipes, a list of travel articles, or a list of articles about your favorite hobby.
To create a list, simply tap the “Lists” tab and then tap the “Create List” button. Give your list a name and a description, and then start adding items to it. You can add items from your saved content, or you can search for new items to add.
