The Xiaomi 13 Ultra launched today in an event held in China packing in all the Leica-tuned cameras that you might possibly want on a phone. There's a 50MP Sony IMX989 posing as the main rear camera with a 1-inch sensor, HyperOIS, and an 8P aspherical lens. Accompanying this are a pair of 50MP IMX858 sensors with OIS that take care of telephoto and super-telephoto photography (3.2x and 5x Optical Zoom), with a third 50MP IMX858 camera being an ultra-wide lens.
Powering all this is Qualcomm's excellent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with up to 16GB of RAM and at least 256GB of storage. Keeping the lights on is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless turbocharging.
