Nvidia announced today that its brand-new RTX 4080 graphics card will soon be used for the Ultimate Tier of its GeForce Now game streaming service which costs $20 a month or nothing (for six months) if you are a new or existing AT&T customer.
The carrier is giving eligible new and existing subscribers 6-months of access to the Ultimate Tier free of charge, with both wireless and internet customers qualifying from January 19. You'll need an eligible 5G phone paired with a qualifying unlimited 5G or legacy unlimited plan to be able to take advantage of the offer.
“The new GeForce NOW Ultimate membership is taking cloud gaming to new heights — streaming beyond-fast GeForce RTX 4080-performance at new resolutions and frame rates on AT&T’s fast and reliable network will be an amazing experience for all gamers. Adding Fiber customers to a fantastic offer means even more gamers, on more devices, will get to experience the best in cloud gaming.”

What is GeForce Now Ultimate Tier?
It's Nvidia's cloud gaming service that has taken on increased relevance thanks to Google shutting down its Stadia offering on January 18th, the day before the offer goes live on AT&T. Gamers can pick up on their mobile from where they left off on a PC and now, thanks to the new RTX 4080 graphics card, enjoy playing at up to 240fps with full support for ray tracing and DLSS 3. Nvidia is also claiming a click-to-pixel latency of just 40ms which is a first for cloud gaming. GeForce Now has a library of more than 1,500 titles that you can play on the devices you already own such as a laptop, desktop PC, Samsung and LG Smart TVs, mobile phone, and more.
The offer goes live on AT&T on January 19th and you can check out the finer details via the link below.
