So, we already know that Qualcomm is holding its annual summit around a month earlier than usual where we will see the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 officially unveiled. This brings us neatly to a new report that claims the OnePlus 11 Pro will be announced before the end of 2022, complete with the aforementioned chip under its hood. On top of this, we also have what could be our first look at the design of the OnePlus 11 Pro which has a re-shaped camera housing on the rear panel and the return of a much-favored feature.
According to Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered OnePlus 11 Pro will launch before the end of 2022 although no further details of the phone's specifications have yet been revealed. Going by the strategy employed for the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro, it's entirely possible that the OnePlus 11 Pro will be announced in China before the end of the year, with a wider roll-out to international markets sometime in early 2023. Of course, this is merely going on the precedent set with the OnePlus 10 Pro and as is their custom, OnePlus could shake up its release schedule yet again.
Thanks to @OnLeaks and SmartPrix, we also have our first look at the OnePlus 11 Pro design which sports a circular rear camera housing, and the return of the Hasselblad branding which was omitted from the OnePlus 10T. The new shape looks sleek and alluring in the black colorway although it remains to be seen how it will appear in other colors. At first glance though, I'm a big fan of its evolutionary design. What are your thoughts?
The good news is that the leaked images show the return of the alert slider on the OnePlus 11 Pro!
Besides the latest Snapdragon chipset, what else would you like the OnePlus 11 Pro to have under its belt?

Looks nice…and expensive…
