Fresh from announching its new Welcome Unlimited postpaid plan Verizon is bringing a little something to its Unlimited prepaid plans in the form of a six-month subscription to Disney+ at no extra charge. The offer applies to who activate or upgrade to one of Verizon's prepaid Unlimited plans which start from $65 monthly.
What customers need to know:
- For the first time, Verizon is offering its Disney+ promotion to Verizon Prepaid customers
- Customers must activate the redemption code sent after signing up/switching to an Unlimited Prepaid Plan
- What to stream on Disney+ while on the go with unlimited data:
- LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation (Aug 5)
- I Am Groot (shorts) (Aug 10)
- Pinocchio (Sept 8)
- Hocus Pocus 2 (Sept 30)
- Verizon Prepaid plans come with access to Verizon’s 5G network, loyalty and auto pay discounts of up to $15, and international calling/texting/data – and never require credit checks, deposits or annual contracts
Once the 6 months are up, Disney+ will begin charging you $7.99 monthly so if that's not something you want to pay for remember to cancel the streaming service beforehand.
As an added bonus, whether you continue with Disney+ or not after the six months are up, Verizon will discount the monthly plan down to $55 after the fifth month of service by way of a discount and benefit of choosing AutoPay. And, if you stick around on the Unlimited plan for ten months or more, the cost drops down to just $50 monthly, which is a handy saving.
