As we await the official launch of the Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Tab S8 range on February 9th, details on another of Samsung's upcoming handsets have leaked with imagery, specs, and a rough starting price. Following up on the very popular Galaxy A52 and A52s, the Galaxy A53 5G is said to feature a new Exynos processor, a 120Hz Super AMOLED display, and a 64MP main camera, with the 6/128GB variant apparently being priced at around €460 (~$525).
The imagery, specs, and rough pricing come from the folks at WinFuture. All told, it's looking like Samsung will have another winner on its hands in the form of the Galaxy A53 5G that offers neat upgrades over its predecessor whilst seemingly maintaining an affordable price if the €460 number is accurate.
So far, there are images showing the Galaxy A53 5G in black and white colorways, but Samsung is known for offering its A-series of phones in a variety of colors so it's likely that more options will be available. On the design front, the images reveal a rather clean but pleasant aesthetic for a phone whose body is made entirely out of plastic.
While there's no mention of an audio jack, it seems that the Galaxy A53 5G does offer support for MicroSD cards. As you've likely surmised from the moniker, 5G is also supported. We've got the rest of the rumored specs in the neat table below for your perusal.
