NFT was the buzzword of 2021, taking over from the likes of ‘Blockchain will save everything' and ‘Crypto will free the world from regulation'. With CES 2022 kicking off, Samsung has already announced its new Gaming Hub that will add access to cloud gaming services such as Stadia and GeForce Now to its upcoming smart TVs, and now it's also revealed its “NFT Aggregation Platform” will launch on its MicroLed, Neo QLED, and The Frame TV models.

The “NFT Aggregation Platform” will let users browse, purchase, and trade NFTs directly from their Samsung smart TV from a number of storefronts. If you already own NFTs you can display them via the platform, and thanks to Samsung's Smart Calibration technology, the TV will adjust its settings to display the NFT how its creator intended it to be viewed. Users will also be able to view details on who created the NFT and blockchain metadata that is related to the item.

In case you were wondering, there's no word on whether the NFT Aggregation Platform will be compatible with those NFT's you've seen on social media and saved as a JPG or PNG to your phone.

What do you think about the addition of the NFT Aggregation Platform to Samsung's premium smart TVs?
