As the title suggests, Android is continuing to make people exhale, lean back in their chairs, and say “wow”. According to the earnings call mentioned earlier, Senior VP of commerce and local with Google announced that not only are 350,000 new Android devices being activated every day, but also 3 billion app installs have made their way to the end users in total. Those app installs come to a full 50% increase from last quarter… astounding.
