It's a week since Joe Public began receiving their Pixel 6 and 6 Pro pre-orders that included a pair of Pixel Buds-A to sweeten the deal, and now it seems that the coupon for the freebie is hitting an inbox near you (if you pre-ordered a Pixel 6/6 Pro in the US). Worth $99, the Pixel Buds-A aren't quite as good a freebie as the Bose 700 Wireless Headphones that were bundled in with pre-orders in the UK, but they are still free.
If you plain forgot to add the Pixel Buds-A to your shopping cart when pre-ordering your Pixel 6, don't worry because Google has your back and is issuing coupons to everyone that is eligible to claim the freebie. Nice one Google!
Once the coupon hits your inbox you need to click on the “Redeem Offer” tab in the email and then decide which colorway you would like before checking out. Google will apply a $99 coupon during the process to bring the cost down to a nice round zero. You'll then be able to see when you'll receive the Pixel Buds-A earbuds which could be sometime during December, which is a fairly long lead time but at least it's free, right?
