Netflix is great but there's so much content to choose from that you can lose yourself in a time-loop scrolling through the catalog without actually watching anything. Netflix noticed this phenomenon earlier this year and rolled out the “Play Something” feature to help those of us who just can't decide which show or movie to watch and now it's rolling out to Android smartphones and tablets.

iOS users will have to wait a while for the “Play Something” feature to roll out on that particular platform but they already have access to the “Fast Laughs” feature which is like a highlights reel of funny clips drawn from Netflix's TV shows and films. Today also brings the “Fast Laughs” feature Android devices in the following markets:

  • USA
  • Australia
  • UK
  • Philippines
  • Canada
  • Ireland
  • India
  • Malaysia

You'll need to make sure your Android phone or tablet is running the latest version of the Netflix app to be sure of having access to the “Play Something” and “Fast Laughs” features.
