The Unpacked event on August 11th promises to be a packed event with the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic being a highly-anticipated device thanks to it being the debut vehicle for Google and Samsung's unified Wear OS 3.0 platform. We already know what the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic looks like (here) and now we have a leaked list of its specifications to look at. And let me tell you, it's looking mighty good if the leaked specs are accurate.

Besides being powered by the 5nm Exynos W920 chip, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic will feature 1.5GB of RAM and a massive 16GB of built-in storage. Where we are used to seeing smartwatch displays with 360 x 360 resolution, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is said to sport a 450 x 450 panel that is protected by Corning's new Gorilla Glass DX. The watch is MIL-STD 810G certified as well as IP68 and 5ATM waterproof so it's plain to see that the Classic isn't a delicate device.

A 361mAh battery that can be fully recharged in 100-minutes is present, and while the capacity is nothing to be lauded it is hopefully a sign of the Exynos W920's power efficiency that it is so little. Fitness fans will be glad to learn that the Classic has an ECG (heart rate), a PPG (blood pressure), and a BIA (body fat) sensor present.

It will launch running on Wear OS 3.0 which, despite last week's teaser, holds many mysteries within although we do know that it will run Samsung's One UI skin on top, which the leaked specs list say will be version 3.5.
