There is good news for G Suite users who communicate with team members via the Chat app in the form of the addition of dark mode to save your eyes from the blinding white light known as Google's Material Design.

Dark mode for the Chat app will roll out in the next fifteen days to everyone and will activate on Android 10 devices according to the system setting automatically. iOS users will need to open up Settings and then choose either Light, Dark, or System Default.

It's always been a little weird that Google launched Chat in 2020 without the ability to choose a dark theme for it considering that the search giant is adding the feature to older apps in a painstakingly slow manner. Still, at least it's on the way.
