Disney+ has been available in the US for a few months now, but thanks to content licensing issues its debut in the UK was delayed until March 24th, which is now just a week away. After signing promotional deals with carriers in France, Germany, Spain, and other European countries, Disney has teamed up with the O2 network in the UK to offer a six-month subscription to the streaming service to its customers, free of charge. As you might imagine, though, there are a couple of caveats, which we'll explain after the break.
It's great news that existing and new customers can sign up for Disney+ for six months without paying a penny extra. Existing customers have to jump through an additional hoop, though, by being eligible to upgrade their plans. If you aren't able or perhaps aren't willing to upgrade your contract but still want to sign up to Disney+, you can so for the reduced cost of £4, with O2 knocking £2 off your monthly bill.
If you aren't with O2 but still want to sign up to Disney+, you can grab the pre-order deal which gives you a year's subscription for £49.99 instead of the regular price of £59.99, or £5.99 monthly.
