Whether you're looking to pick up a new tablet for yourself or just to get started on Christmas shopping early, Amazon's got a pretty slick deal on their Fire 7 tablets right now. The newly refreshed version with 16GB of RAM is 20% off today, making it one of the cheapest Android tablets around that doesn't completely suck.

These tablets have an improved 1.3GHz quad-core CPU, 16GB of storage, up to 7 hours of battery life with active use, and dual-band WiFi. They also come in some pretty nice colors now that aren't quite so bright and brash, too.

That 20% brings the tablet's price down to just $39, which is really not bad for the value you're getting out of it. It won't be a huge laptop replacement, but for casual usage, social media, and video streaming, it's perfect.
