A Galaxy Note is heading to Europe with an affordable price tag 4

The Galaxy Note is synonymous with “flagship” these days, but there's a growing trend to release models with stripped down specs that offer the same general experience at a cheaper price (the Pixel 3a is a good example). Samsung is apparently close to launching a somewhat affordable Note model in Europe, which will provide the S Pen in a more mid-range package. Although two Notes were released this year, the Note 10 and Note 10 Plus, both were considered flagship devices with the smaller model starting at $950.

There's not much known about the mid-range Note, but it'll come in either black or red, and Europe will be the first region to get it. Flagship Notes have model numbers in the SM-N9xxx range, but the new one will have SM-N770F. This is close to the Galaxy Note 3 Neo (SM-N750F), a mid-range offshoot of the older Galaxy Note 3. To help reinforce this, the flagship (and very pricey) Galaxy Fold has model number SM-F900F and an affordable foldable device is coming next year with number SM-F700F. There's a clear pattern here and only the Note models start with the letter N, so the likelihood of the SM-N770F being a mid-range Note is high.

This latest model is expected to come with 128GB of storage, although it's unknown if microSD expansion will be an option. It's been many generations since the Note 3 Neo gave us a mid-range S Pen experience, but perhaps we're in for a long overdue successor.
