It isn't long since Samsung began rolling out the Pie-based firmware for Galaxy Note 8's One UI beta program, and now it seems that the Korean electronics giant is expanding the rollout to the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
According to SamMobile, the beta firmware is initially rolling to Galaxy S8 and S8+ users in India, intending to expand to other countries in the next week or two. If you want to take part in the beta program, you'll need to register for the update via Samsung's Members or Samsung+ apps, after which your device will receive a notification when the beta firmware is available to download. Once updated, it will change the build number to G950FXXU4ZSA5 and G955FXXU4ZSA5, depending which device you own.
The timing of the rollout makes sense when you remember that according to Samsung's official Pie update roadmap, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ should receive the new version of Android during March.
Let us know in the comments below when your Galaxy S8 or S8+ receives the update notification.
