It should come as no surprise that Samsung is preparing to unveil the Galaxy S8 Active, most likely in exclusive partnership with AT&T. This latest leaked render offers a different angle to what we've seen leaked previously.

As you can see, the render of the Galaxy S8 Active comes from Evan Blass and shows off the rugged edges that feature pentalobe screws.
Thanks to previous leaks, we know that the Galaxy S8 Active boasts a 5.99-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. As you might expect, the rugged Galaxy S8 Active features an IP68 and MIL-STD-810G rating that should allow the handset to survive 30 minutes in up to 5 feet of water.
There's a 12MP dual-pixel rear camera with an 8MP front-facing camera, and storing the juice is a 4,000mAh non-removable camera. It's pretty similar to the standard Galaxy S8 but with a slightly bigger display, bigger battery, and added ruggedness. Unlike previous reports, Samsung's virtual assistant, Bixby, is present on the Galaxy S8 Active, for better or worse.
