OnePlus has already said that its new flagship, the OnePlus 5, will be launching this summer; however, we haven't seen any leaked images of the device yet. Today that changes, as someone may have spotted the device on OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei's Instagram Story.
One user saw something a little odd posted to Pei's Instagram Story and decided to screenshot it. It's quite a blurry photo, but it shows a device sporting dual-rear cameras. A dual-rear camera setup is something that has been rumored on the OnePlus 5 for a little while now, so it's natural to assume that this is what we're seeing.
Again, it's a pretty blurry photo and doesn't give us a great look at the device. All you can really see is that camera setup, which is a little different than some of the renders we've seen already, although that's to be expected.
On the hardware side of things, rumors say we could see as much as 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We should see other variations of the device available with 6GB of RAM and less storage as well. Reports also say we'll see the Snapdragon 835 onboard, a 4,000mAh battery and a 5.3-inch 2K display.
We'll no doubt hear more as we get closer to the phone's release this summer.
