If you skipped the OnePlus 3 over the summer, another phone from OnePlus might not be far off with a slightly higher price.
The OnePlus 3T, which we recently heard about for the first time, is expected to launch in the next few weeks as an upgraded version of the model currently on sale around the world. It'll have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor, an Optic AMOLED display, and Android 7.0 Nougat to put it near the front of the pack in the race to have superior specifications.
With the OnePlus 3 priced at $399, OnePlus isn't expected to lower the price when the next phone launches. The OnePlus 3 will likely carry a heavier price tag.

A somewhat cryptic message was tweeted by Evan Blass on Wednesday to reveal new information about the upcoming OnePlus 3T.
OnePlus 3 + ~$80 + [time] = OnePlus 3T#met3Thitarhymeacapella

It says “OnePlus 3 + ~$80 + [time] = OnePlus 3T.” Now, I'm not very good at riddles or puzzles. So I can only give you my simplified take on what Blass is saying. It seems the OnePlus 3T will be $80 more expensive than the OnePlus 3 while having lengthier battery life. This means for the benefit of a better processor and perhaps improved battery life, you'll have to pay $479 instead of $399.
Going with a near-$500 price could hurt OnePlus, however. Consumers trust the company for its high-end devices that are rather affordable. Unless the phone replaces the current model and keeps the $399 price, it's tough to see how the OnePlus 3T becomes a hit.
