We are all familiar with the passion of Apple fanboys and fangirls for their iPhone devices. However, a new study released by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) shows there is at least one smartphone out there whose owners are more loyal and passionate about their devices than any iPhone model. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 notched a score of 86 to put it on top of the rankings for 2016.
The top of the list is dominated by Samsung and Apple devices. Following a mere one point behind the Galaxy Note 5 is the iPhone 6s Plus. A pair of Samsung devices – the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 4 – follow at 84 points and the top five is rounded out by the iPhone 6s with 83 points. You may also note that devices with larger screens are predominant at the top of the list with various Note and iPhone Plus devices ranking highly.
The first non-Apple, non-Samsung device to make the ACSI list is the Motorola Moto G with 81 points, putting it in a tie for eighth place on the list. Devices from HTC, LG and Motorola manage to creep into the list from about the 18th position and on down.
Although Apple may not have placed a device at the top of the list, the company as a whole still ruled the roost at the company level. Despite only placing a couple devices on the list, Motorola still managed to rank third as a brand with customers, which makes Lenovo's decision to drop Motorola branding a bit questionable.

I love the Nexus 6P, best phone I’ve ever owned. Why isn’t it even on this list?
Did they say which version of the Moto G?… I’ve owned 2 G2’s both of which died instantly when they tried to upgrade from stock kk to stock lollipop. Apparently there are thousands of them that did this and Motorola isn’t taking responsibility for it.
