We've heard rumors of a new Honor device for a little while, and now its seems that Huawei's budget brand is gearing up to take the virtual wraps off a new product on Monday, June 20th. Join us after the break for more details.

We've just received our invite to save the date for a “new and exciting product launch from Honor“, with Honor hosting a virtual launch for the new product at 2pm on Monday, June 20th.
The invite doesn't really give any hints about which new device it will unveil, but considering that the virtual launch will only last 20 mins, I would be more inclined to bet on a VR headset being announced as opposed to a new smartphone such as the Honor 8. Naturally, being a hunch, there's a good chance I could be wrong, but somehow, I don't think so. 20 Minutes is not a long time for a smartphone announcement. That said, the invite does mention a device that is “fast, robust and affordable, all in one”.
It's a bit soon to announce a successor to the Honor 5X (reviewed here), so I guess it could actually be the rumored Honor 5C if it isn't a VR device, but who knows? As soon as we find out more information on the event, you'll be the first to know. What would you like Honor to unveil on June 20th? Let us know in the comments below.
