LG in a new TV ad for the LG G5 titled Play Begins confirmed that the LG G5 will indeed be launching on April 1.
We haven't had any official dates for the LG G5 announced yet, though some carriers are slowly coming out of the woodwork announcing an April 1 release date for the smartphone as we inch closer to launch day. However, this new TV ad confirms that we'll see the smartphone not only from carriers on April 1, but LG as well.
The TV ad itself isn't much to right home about. It demonstrates the LG G5's modular capabilities and also shows off the smartphone's superior sound on a Subway. We're expecting to see great things with the LG G5's sound, as the company announced a partnership with Bang & Olufsen to bring “the best sound experience” to the company's latest flagship.
