Google has rolled out some new changes to the Google Slides app for creating presentations. The improvements add some new options for editing images that are placed on slides.

A few months ago Google added the ability to crop and add borders to images without leaving the Slides application. The new features add a few more adjustments that users can make without resorting to a different application.

The new additions will enable users to adjust opacity, brightness and contrast of an image using some slider controls. In addition, Google provides a set of predefined filters that users can choose from to recolor an image to match the theme of their presentation.

It may not seem like much in the way of an update, but for users trying to use a product like Google Slides for their presentations, anything that can be done within the app will help improve efficiency.
