AT&T has announced that it will be offering the Moto G LTE (1st Gen.) starting this Friday, October 10, for $180 upfront on any of its prepaid plans. To clear up any confusion, this is the 4G-enabled variant of the original Moto G, not the 2nd Generation model Motorola announced last month.
Despite what you may be thinking, the Moto G LTE 2013 Edition isn’t old hat by any means. It’s still a relatively impressive entry-level smartphone, which packs a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, a 1.2Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 5MP rear-facing shooter and a 2,070mAh battery.
