VIVO could be the first to have a Sapphire display

VivoSapphire2 Much of the news and excitement for the new iPhone 6 has circled around the larger Sapphire display it will be packing. However, it looks like Apple won't be first out of the gate with the new scratch resistant glass if VIVO has anything to do about it. According to a new report and information on the social media web site Weibo, the company is looking to put out a flagship device sporting a Sapphire display.

The flagship is rumored to have a 5-inch display and sport an all-metal frame. It's said that the device will be released in China with a price of 3,998 yuan (about $650). Of course there's very little else in terms of information on specs but rumors have the device launching before the iPhone 6.
