Yesterday a press render leaked that was believed to show an encased Motorola Moto X+1. A new image has leaked today that appears to show the same device headed for Verizon, but going by the name Motorola Victara. In the past we learned that the codename for the Moto X+1 was “Victara” or at least that is what was believed.

This newest image is part of an ad for a Verizon accessory, a case to be specific, for the Motorola Victara. As was noted in yesterday's leaked image, this new device that is surfacing does not appear to have a front facing camera which makes it unlikely for a flagship device. However, the dimensions for the case are listed at 5.25-inches by 2.77-inches, putting the diagonal at about 5.9-inches. Adjusting for the depth of the case material and bezels, it appears a decent sized display could be included in the Motorola Victara. As noted yesterday, this device may incorporate front-facing speakers like HTC and unlike budget or mid-tier smartphones. The combination of size and speaker placement suggests it could be a device targeted at the higher-end of the spectrum.

The big question now is whether the Motorola Victara and the Moto X+1 are two names for the same device or are they two different devices.
