HTC just debuted two new Desire phones at MWC and with the All New One coming March 25, it looks as if the Taiwanese company has a pretty decent line up on its hands for 2014. HTC looks to be adding to that as a successor to the HTC Butterfly S. A device that's coded named “GLU2” surfaced with radios for CDMA2000 and appears to be built for the Japanese carrier KDDI. Other than that, it looks to be packing similar specs (still rumored so it could change) to the M8.
It will pack a full 5.2-inch HD display made by SHARP, a Snapdragon 801 processor with a 2.3GHz clock speed, 2 GB of RAM, either 16 or 32 GB of storage with a microSD slot, 5MP UltraPixel dual-camera, 5MP front-facing camera, and 3,000 mAh battery. Android 4.4.X with Sense 6 is rumored to be on-board as well.
No word on pricing or timing, but we'll let you know as soon as we know more.
