The screen resolution is one of the biggest unknowns of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S 5. We've heard that it might be a quad HD screen, or it might be another 1080p screen. Surprisingly, the latest information from LG's wireless network it runs in South Korea seems to confirm a 1080p screen.
Samsung tries its hardest to push the envelope when it comes to specs, so I would be slightly surprised if the GS5 doesn't feature a screen over 1080p, but with how new quad HD screens are, it might be something we have to wait for in the Note 4. Of course, we've gotten confirmation of a ton of different model numbers for the S5, so it's entirely possible that some models will have a 1080p screen and others will have a quad HD screen. We won't know until Samsung makes something official.
What do you think? Will the S5 launch with a 1080p screen or a higher resolution?

If it doesn’t have a 4k screen its crap. My eyes won’t be able to see the 4k goodness but I have to know its there or I won’t buy it. LOL I think 1080 would be fine. I can’t see the pixles on a 1080p screen anyway.
just care about battery life
Who knows, maybe the plastic model will be 1080p and the metal will be quad HD (assuming they opt for two models).
