For months now, plenty of Facebook users have yearned for Facebook to update the UI of their Android app. With the recent test build, it seems like that's exactly what Facebook is planning on doing. The new test version is at 4.0.0.0.2 and gives Facebook the “flat” style UI which looks similar to the same UI given to their Messaging app. It also looks like they've gone to a tab style where you can swipe through to your notifications, newsfeed, friend requests and messages. just installed the version from the link and looks the same as current version on appstore. confirmed version was 4 so i guess the changes must be back end changes which facebook will push out eventually
Strangely enough I don’t see a difference when installing this. But I got also an error that exchange services has stopped. But installation completes nonetheless.
