Any.do cal

Any.do has been teasing its Android version of their Cal app for a while now, but they've finally opened up the beta for the app via Google+'s beta communities. Cal shares many minimalist designs and features with Any.do, which is one of the best note taking apps available for Android. It is a beta, of course, so it's not completely stable for every day use. There are going to be bugs, stability issues, and a bit of lag here and there. Overall, though, it's shaping up to be a great calendar replacement app.

Any.do has already posted up a laundry list of features that Cal offers, and it's definitely worth checking out.

■ Your events will come to life beautifully with smart maps, contacts, apps and social integrations.

■ Seamlessly connects with all your existing calendar services so you're always up to date (supports Google Calendar, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo, AOL & iCloud)

■ Each day starts with a fresh & gorgeous photo to celebrate the day in a fun way.

■ Daily Planning is made simple. By connecting Cal with Any.DO you can check out your Any.do tasks for the day.

■ It's always someone's birthday. Write on your friends wall, buy a give, make a call, or send them a message. It's really easy.

■ It's easy to find great places, restaurants & bars nearby for your events.

■ Scheduling made easy – Simply jump to a specific date from the month view or swipe to next week.

■ Need a ride? Call an Uber with one click from Cal (available on supported locations)

If you're interested in participating in the beta, it works like other Google+ beta communities. Follow the links below to join the Any.do beta community, then click the links for the beta app download page. Once you're in the beta community, the download page will be live and you can freely install the app on your devices. If you do decide to join the beta, let us know how it works for you.
