‘Asphalt 8: Airborne’ release set for tomorrow, new trailer online

Gameloft's next sure-hit game is set for release tomorrow on the Google Play Store, and will surely garner plenty of sales at initial launch, especially when considering Google's heavy promotion of the game alongside the new Nexus 7.

This next installment of the Asphalt series introduces some welcome improvements, including spectacular graphics (‘Retina' optimized), a brand new realistic physics engine, new maps, weather effects, 180 events, 47 cars, and new game modes.

The game also includes simultaneous online multiplayer supported by Google's new Play Games service which tracks scores in leader-boards and makes it easy to play with friends on the fly.

The game will be available tomorrow on the Play Store for $0.99 and we'll let you guys know as soon as it's released. Check out the new trailer after the break.
