Those of who enjoy streaming music over bluetooth may have had a few issues with Google's latest version of Android, 4.2. Fortunately, though, Google claims they've fixed the issue and they'll be pushing it out with the next release of the software. Since we've been hearing so many rumors about 4.2.2, this fix shouldn't take too much longer to get pushed out to the mainstream. Have any of your had bluetooth issues since updating your device to 4.2.1?

I have the galaxy S3, and the past month or so, my audio streaming sounds like a poor quality fm transmitter. I can’t seem to figure out why. .
I was searching to see if anyone has had issues and found this string. I have the Maxx 4.1.2. My bluetooth in relation to streaming video /music through my Toyota stereo (Entune) was doing great up until a couple of months ago. It seemed to get worse with time. I “listen” to Netflix to/from work and had no issues up until then. I’m pretty sure it started getting buggy after the last update, but in the last few weeks, the music player auto starts and won’t shut off and in order to get music to quit I have to clear the queue -the player still won’t close. with it open it won’t stream Netflix at all. really annoyed with it. (Also hate the update on the music player. Tried a couple others, but then when tried the bluetooth deal again they seemed to take turns auto-starting as well…leading me to think it’s the bluetooth itself not the audio/video apps. If there’s a fix I’d sure like to have it. I used to LOVE my phone and with each update I like it less and less as something or several somethings seem to break each time. I really use my phone quite a bit and music / video is an important part of having this type of phone.
I have 4.2.2 on Nexus 7 and audio doesn’t play on my BT headset at all.
Same problem here. Tried with Nokia and Samsung BT headsets. Unable to play music:(. But works fine with my BT speakers.
Nexus 4
I am getting same problem with blue as most of peoples having.
* Cannot start Bluetooth
* by chance it’s working cannot connect to the device
fix it..
Basically, 4.2 & 4.2.1 disabled Bluetooth on my nexus 7. I slide the toggle to ‘on’, and it remains gray, never turning on. I used to (4.1.1 / 4.1.2) use Bluetooth tethering for mapping & traffic on the tablet. I also used to play arcade games with a WiiMote. All history now.
