OUYA Console to receive a Robotoki exclusive game 4

Remember the OUYA project? If you don't, you can get yourself caught up about the project with our coverage on it. Whether OUYA will be a success or not, one game company has already pledged an exclusive title for the device. Robotoki, the company that's responsible for the upcoming game Human Element, has announced that a prequel to the title will exclusively debut on the OUYA system.

If you're not familiar with Human Element, it's yet another game that's set in a zombie apocalyptic word. Sick of these kinds of games yet? I'm not, especially when there's a new twist to it rather than just another shoot-em-up style of game play, and that's exactly what Human Element offers. Human Element's character creation system allows players to choose between three different character classes from action, intelligence and stealth. There are also three different identities, or game modes, such as Survive Alone, Survive with a Partner and Survive with a Young Child.

According to Robert Bowling, the game creator and founder of Robotoki, “How you choose to start in the world will determine how you can engage and impacts the scenarios you will be presented with on a physical and morality level.” As you can see, this is much more than just your standard zombie massacre game. It definitely mixes several video game genre's and I feel it definitely has potential to be a great hit.

Human Element is slated for release on next-generation consoles, PC, mobile (Android), and tablets in 2015. Thus, we should expect the prequel title that will debut on the OUYA system sometime before 2015, although an official release date has yet to be determined.

While Robotoki is the only gaming company thus far to pledge a game for the OUYA system, I fully expect other game companies to follow suit as the debut of the OUYA gets closer. What do you all think about this? Does it make you any more excited about the OUYA system or do you think it will be a flop either way? We'd love to hear your insight in the comments section.
