HTC and Dropbox Team up to Bring 5GB of Online Storage to New HTC Devices

Looks like us little people are going to reap even more benefits from HTC’s recent partnership with the online storage giant, Dropbox. This is a take-off from their September announcement that gave out 3GB of additional storage to owners of HTC devices running Sense 3.5.

This new deal includes a Dropbox app that will come pre installed on all HTC Android phones and new owners will get 5GB of free online cloud storage, versus the standard 2GB normally given to standard accounts.

It was just yesterday that the anouncement was made, and was done through HTC’s official Facebook page. As you can see, quite a few people are digging the new partnership and most likely the free upgraded storage space even more.

This isn’t the first time Dropbox has teamed up with handset manufactures, they previously joined forces with Sony Ericsson and included the Dropbox app on Experia phones but without the additional storage bonus.

No word yet on which HTC devices will take advantage of the deal but we will let you know as soon as we find out.
